Run 2 drops you into a string of floating tiles in deep space and asks one thing: don't fall off. The track is built from panels with gaps, missing sections and tunnel walls, and you cover it at a pace that never eases off. Joseph Cloutier made this sequel to his original Run, and it keeps the same idea of a small alien sprinting down a tunnel where the floor is not always where you expect it.
Compared with the headline game here, Tunnel Rush, Run 2 is slower to read but more varied. You are not threading a glowing tube at maximum speed; you are judging jumps, spotting which tiles are safe and deciding when to leave the floor for a wall or ceiling. A round is short, a mistake sends you spinning into space, and the restart is instant, so the pull to try one more time is strong.
One thing sets this entry apart from its neighbours: some tiles are crumbling. Once you step on one it starts to fall away, so you cannot stop on it or double back. That turns each section into a small routing problem instead of a plain reflex test.
How to play
Steer with Left and Right, or A and D. Up, W or Space jumps. Speed only climbs as you go, which means the best moves are small and early. A big correction at the last moment usually carries you straight past the tile you wanted.
A typical run goes like this: pick a line along the tiles, hold it, and tap to adjust well before an edge. Jump when the gap is just ahead of you, not when you are already at the lip. If the track bends or tilts, make your steering input short and let the movement settle before you add another.
Tips
- Tap, don't hold. Short presses on Left and Right keep you on a narrow tile far better than steady pressure.
- Look one or two gaps ahead. Your eyes should be on the next obstacle while your hands deal with the current one.
- Never rest on a crumbling tile. Cross it in one smooth motion and plan where you land on the other side.
- If a section keeps beating you, restart and approach it with a slightly different line instead of repeating the same mistake.

If Run 2 hooks you, try Run, the earlier game in the series, which is plainer and shows where the idea started. Tunnel Rush and Super Tunnel Rush trade the platforming for pure dodging at speed, while Rolly Vortex and Going Balls swap the runner for a rolling ball. Geometry Dash Lite is the pick if you want rhythm-based jumping instead.
It suits short sessions on a keyboard and loads straight in the browser with nothing to install. Expect to fall a lot early on; the feel of the controls comes quickly.
Questions about Run 2

What are the controls in Run 2?
Left and Right, or A and D, steer. Up, W or Space jumps. The speed only increases, so short early taps work better than big late corrections.

Does Run 2 need a keyboard?
It is an HTML5 build that runs in modern browsers, but the keyboard controls are the easiest way to play.
